“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.” –Bob Marley
So let me tell you a story. There was a guy who was an introvert and he used to talk to a girl who ‘is’ an extrovert. No match right? But it turns out that they never felt the gap because of their opposite behavior. The guy was not special and I’m sure about it. He was the last person you’d expect to love. I’m not saying there was anything wrong with him, but there was nothing special, either. He didn’t have a piercing, or a tattoo, or 3000 friends on Facebook. His only superpower was being invisible to girls. Like most people his age, He just existed.
Now about the girl. Insane in the cutest manner. Only Heavenly language can describe her, she is out of this world. Anything I say about her beauty will sound so cliche, so I will honor her with my silence.
The guy was very shy and could only talk with girls on text. The girl once asked the boy to call her. The boy rejected and told her that he can’t talk. This made the girl angry and she thought the boy didn’t like her. The boy couldn’t convince her. After a few hours, they again started to talk like nothing happened. A few days later the boy felt something strange as he couldn’t sleep or even concentrate because of the girl. This was not because she was disturbing him. It was something else, something very different… It was love. The boy was in dilemma whether he should confront his feeling or not, but he also started acting weird. The boy didn’t know what the girl felt, so he was afraid of being rejected. Strange how complicated we can make things just to avoid showing what we feel! The girl started to keep her distance from the boy and she made new friends. But she forgot that she will get as much friends she want, but the boy.. who will like him? The boy hardly had 3 friends. But the girl didn’t understand this. She eventually stopped talking to him, which at last completely broke the boy. The boy knew that it was all over. He let the feeling wash over him, and then He dried off with a fur coat and went for a walk. But there was one thing the boy always knew and said “I might not always have you, but I’ll have the feeling of you for the rest of my life.”
